Induction of songstress  Carike Keuzenkamp in the Foxwood Garden of Fame. Embedding her handprints in a stepping-stone to form part of a garden gallery of celebrities, she will be honoured as so many before her: Bryan Habana, Sandra Prinsloo, John Kani (see above), Abigail Kubeka to mention only a few.

A tribute to  iconic South African actor Tobie Cronjé in the Foxwood Garden of Fame. Violinist Zanta Hofmeyr takes part in the function when his handprints are embedded in a stepping-stone to be placed among those for many of his celebrated colleagues.

              Garden of Fame

 

In its Garden of Fame, Foxwood House pays tribute to South African artists who have made exceptional contributions to the arts. Honouring artists who have excelled in various disciplines, the Garden of Fame features also a renowned South African scientist, heart surgeon and politican.

 

During the Foxwood Spring Festival, three more names will be added to the Garden of Fame: Dr. John Kani, Carike Keuzenkamp and Tobie Cronjé.

 

The ceremony is a colourful but intimate affair, attended by members of the Press, television, fans and family. Fellow artists perform in their honour: Abigail Kubeka for Dr. John Kani, violinist Zanta Hofmeyr for actor Tobie Cronjé and for Carike Keuzenkamp , singer Lance James.
